The Vampire Diaries - Annie Wersching Cast as Lily

Annie Wersching has been tapped to recur in The Vampire Diaries‘ sixth season as a “beautiful and strong” woman named Lily. Also described as “articulate and caustic,” Lily has a reputation for protecting the ones she loves at any cost, though it’s unclear as to who (or what) those loved ones are.
Lily will first appear in Episode 6x15.

The Originals - Casting News

Colin Woodell will recur on the second season of The CW’s The Originals playing a “badass” werewolf named Aiden. 

A lieutenant in New Orleans’ leading werewolf pack, Aiden isn’t opposed to teaming up with witches if they can help him take down vampires and keep his family safe. Needless to say, you can expect to see him forming a few “dangerous alliances” during his stint on the show, which begins with Episode 4.

The Originals - Spoiler From TV Line - 7th August 2014

I can’t wait to see Daniel Sharman on The Originals. Any other new faces we should be looking out for?

You’re not alone in your excitement, and the former Teen Wolf star certainly won’t be the season’s sole addition. Episode 6 will introduce us to a “respected and feared” werewolf pack leader. What sets this guy apart from the rest of the Big Easy’s lycanthropes? He’ll spend quite a bit of (non-romantic) time with Davina, teaching her how to extend her power. In short, Klaus will not be a fan of this guy.

The Vampire Diaries - Chris Wood Cast

Chris Wood will play Kai, a charmingly unstable newcomer with the unsettling ability to seem normal as the situation demands. He can be both playful and obsessive with a mix of adolescent angst. Sounds like he'll fit right in! He will first appear in 6x03.

Marco James has been cast in a recurring role as Liam, an attractive and smart upperclassman at Whitmore College.
Described as cocky yet good-natured, he's a med student who comes from a family of doctors. James will make his first appearance on the Season 6 season premiere.

The Vampire Diaries - Jodi Lyn O'Keefe Cast

Jodi Lyn O’Keefe has been cast as new character Jo, “a tough and accomplished doctor at the university hospital. She demands excellence from her students and has learned the hard way that there’s no room for error in her profession.”

 O’Keefe first appears in the season six premiere. There’s no word yet on how long she’ll stick around.

The Vampire Diaries - Emily C Chang Cast

The Vampire Diaries is adding a new character who may not be who she seems.
The CW drama will be introducing the recurring character of Ivy, described as sweet and sincere. 
Not much is known about Ivy, only that she's "the quintessential girl next door with an unexpected wild side"
 but knowing Vampire Diaries, the tide will turn sooner rather than later. She will first appear in the sixth-season premiere.

The Vampire Diaries - Colin Ferguson Cast

There’s a new man coming to Mystic Falls.
Colin Ferguson is joining the sixth season of the CW’s The Vampire Diaries, EW has confirmed. The Eureka star will play Tripp, head of a community militia “who will do anything to protect his town.”
Ferguson himself coyly hinted about the news on Twitter:

Hmmm.... Seem to have 'tripped' my way into a new role... Mystic Falls, hunh? This is gonna be fun :)

Executive producer Julie Plec also teased the role by saying:

For those of you who are sneaky/savvy and see the casting sides, the role was formerly called MITCH.

 Plec added that Tripp will give Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) “a run for her money” when he makes his debut in the sixth season premiere.

Gabrielle Walsh has been cast for a new and possibly recurring role in The Vampire Diaries. Walsh will play a girl called Sarah. She comes to Mystic Falls with spunk, street smarts and a shady agenda. Her character will be introduced in the season 6 premiere on 2nd October.

The Originals - Sonja Sohn Cast As New Witch

Another witch is coming to the Big Easy!

The Originals has cast The Wire star Sonja Sohn in a recurring season two role.

Set to make her debut on the CW hit's third episode of the season, Sohn will be taking on the role of Lenore, a powerful salt-of-the-Earth in New Orleans. Lenore will prove to be quite the foe for Klaus (Joseph Morgan).

The Originals - Season 2 Casting Info

Our favorite fall shows may currently be on summer hiatus, but 'The Originals' is wasting no time in dishing out some bloody good details about its upcoming second season.

For starters...Kol will be coming back!

Though he's been facing some pretty serious afterlife woes in 'The Vampire Diaries,' Klaus and Elijah’s baby bro — played by the always dreamy Nathaniel Buzolic — is set to resurface sometime this fall in a flashback scenario, which will give fans an even better look into the twisted lives of the Mikaelson family.

This will be the actor's second time on the show, having also appeared in the pilot last fall.

There has been released a list of the main cast confirmed for season 2.  Joseph Morgan, Daniel Gillies, Phoebe Tonkin, Charles Michael Davis, Leah Pipes and Danielle Campbell will reprise their roles this upcoming season. There has also been a list of the supporting cast that will also be part of the show released. Nathaniel is part of it along with Sebastian Roché who will reprise his role as the villainous Mikael.

One of the biggest questions is answered in the supporting cast. Finn will be with his mother. He will also be known as Vincent. Kol will be in season 2 also. In season 4 of 'The Vampire Diaries', Kol admitted to loving the French Quarter witches and said they could make a real drink. It was there Kol found out about Silas. He told Elena that he always hung out with the French Quarter witches.

Some other names from the supporting cast list are: Natalie Dreyfuss (Cassie/Esther), Yusuf Gatewood (Vincent/Finn Mikaelson), Steven Krueger (Josh), Peta Sergeant as (Francesca Correa), Nathan Parsons (Jackson), Chase Coleman (Oliver), Jesse C. Boyd (Cary) and Daniel Sharman (Kaleb).

The Originals have cast Teen Wolf fan favourite Daniel Sharman in a major season 2 recurring role. He will play Kaleb, the handsome, devilish and charming new witch in the French Quarter's coven. Intent on wreaking havoc, wooing women and causing as much chaos as possible, Kaleb has been deeply wounded by a horrific family upbringing and covers his emotional bruises with a wicked sense of humor, as well as a wicked temper. When you're on his good side, there's no better party. Get on his bad side? Well, you'll regret it.

While season one has yet to wrap, we've managed to get our hands on some season two scoop: a new character coming to stir up trouble in the French Quarter! Fans will meet Kaleb, a paranormal psychologist, who (surprise, surprise!) is not a fan of the Mikaelson family.

The Originals - Young Elijah Casting

Perry Cox has been cast to play the role of Elijah Mikaelson as a child. He will appear in 1x16 "Farewell To Storyville".

The Originals - Young Klaus Casting

The role of Klaus as a young boy has been picked up by 10 year old, Aiden Flowers. He is expected to make an appearance in 1x16.

The Vampire Diaries - 3 New Roles Cast

Raffi Barsoumian is set for a major recurring role on The Vampire Diaries. He will play Markos, an imposing and charismatic presence with supernatural origins.

Heather Hemmens will take on the role of Maggie, Enzo's (Michael Malarkey) love interest. She's a kind, warm and engaging medical student, with a compassionate soul and a lot of courage, which will be tested when her feelings for Enzo lead her down a dangerous situations.

Chris Brochu will play the fun and charming Luke, a student at Whitmore college who bonds with Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Caroline (Candice Accola). But relax, Delena, Stelena, Klaroline and Forwood fans because there's no chance for romance between Luke and one of the ladies as he's gay. Also, he has a secret agenda.

Can't wait for the 100th ep of Vampire Diaries, but kind of want to know what's coming up after it. I'm greedy, I know!

A new big bad! In episode 17, viewers will be meeting Markos, a charismatic but imposing leader from a faraway land. He's super dark, but people can't help but be drawn to him and he's worshipped by his followers. So Joe Carroll 2.0 basically?

The Originals - New Werewolf Cast

Nathan Parsons has been cast as Jackson, one of Hayley's werewolf acquaintances. He has the underlying ruggedness of a werewolf raised in the Bayou, but he's magnetic, smart and strong-willed, the natural trusted leader of his pack. He will debut in Episode 13.

Ryan Kessler has been cast for the role of John. Nothing is known about his character yet. More to come as and when we know.
