While we won't reveal which Salvatore brother our heroine chooses, we can assure you that she does in fact pick one. (No Kelly Taylor-esque "I choose me" moment happening here!) As for the other brother, fret not as he'll have more than enough to deal with that not landing the girl (for now) will hardly register. Start prepping for one of the series' best twists ever, basically!

Candice Accola stopped by EW NYC and told me this juicy intel about episode 22, “The Walking Dead,” airing May 9. “Everyone will have ghosts from their pasts come back,” she teases. “We’re going to see  lot of characters return. It won’t be all of them and each one is going to have a reason for being in Mystic Falls and that’s what you’re going to learn a little bit more about.” The result, she adds, is “a huge mythology lesson.”

These 15 words will leave her mouth in the May 16 season finale, per exec producer Julie Plec: “Come hell or high water, hell will freeze over before I let anybody cancel graduation.” As Plec explains, “The instinct to miss graduation is going to be on [everyone's] minds because there’s greater things afoot. And Caroline, as we know, finds these moments and high school events very precious and gets very angry when anybody tries to mess with them.”
