New Casting - Original Brother - Finn

Finn is Klaus’ somewhat less evil brother, He's in his late 20s-early 30's handsome, tall and physically imposing. Quiet but with a dark side.

He will appear in a 1491 flashback sequence in episode 3x13. As legend has it, Finn stumbles upon a vulnerable Katerina, and, well, one thing leads to another…

As more information becomes available I will post!

Vampire Diaries Casting news

The 2 newest cast members to join TVD...

Torrey DeVitto (aka Paul Wesley's wife) has landed herself a recurring role in TVD as an intelligent doctor who is intrigued by Alaric's power of recovery. (In other words... It sounds like Alaric is once again about to die!!!!) She will first appear in episode 3x10

Persia White has been cast to play Abby Bennett (Bonnie's mother) She will first appear in 3x12 and be a recurring character. Abby is described as a beautiful but troubled woman who is burdened by the secrets of her past that led her to leave Bonnie. She’s also “as determined and fiery as any Bennett woman.” Is that code for “she’s also a witch,” or, perhaps, was there a reason we learned in last week’s episode that someone can be either a witch or a vampire but never both?

Vampire Diaries EyeCon and ISF Event Empoweresque

This weekend (28th-30th October 2011)  has been a very eventful one in the US. Two very exciting events have taken place. One being EyeCon, the other being the ISF Event Empoweresque organised by Ian Somerhalder for his foundation.

Vampire Diaries stars attended both events.

At EyeCon there was :  Joseph Morgan (Klaus), Daniel Gillies (Elijah), Malese Jow (Anna), Kayla Ewell (Vicki), Nina Dobrev (Elena/Katherine), Steven R McQueen (Jeremy Gilbert), Kat Graham (Bonnie), Bryton James (Luka) and Rob Pralgo (Mayor Lockwood).

At Empoweresque were:  Ian Somerhalder (Damon), Joseph Morgan, Nina Dobrev, Candice Accola (Caroline), Zach Roerig (Matt), Kat Graham, Steven R McQueen, Daniel Gillies, Malese Jow and Kayla Ewell.

An amazing turnout for fans that went!

First Look at Alice Evans as Esther - The Originals Mama!

I hope you're ready to meet the original mother folks! The time is drawing near! Esther (Alice Evans) is set to appear in next weeks episode, 3x08 'Ordinary People' in flashbacks of a thousand years ago along with Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Rebekah (Claire Holt) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies). Yes!!! Elijah is back!!!

Esther is as fierce as the rest of the family but she also longs to protect them.

Take a look at what Esther is wearing around her neck!!! Does it look familiar??

This has left me with a few questions!

In 3x03 'The End of the Affair', Rebekah tells Stefan that a witch gave her the necklace she was wearing!

Does this mean that Esther was a witch? Is she the original witch?

Please leave comments with your thoughts and theories! I would love to hear them!!

Hope this helps to see you through until Thursday! I know it makes me even more desperate to see it but it helps that emptiness!!! Roll on Thursday!!!

Vampire Diaries Getting A New Vamp-Witch?

RUMOUR HAS IT...

Danielle Panabaker seems to be the next new casting on TVD.
As if Mystic Falls doesn't have enough supernatural going on with vampires, witches, doppelgangers, werewolves and hybrids! The next one will be a witch named Veronica played by Danielle Panabaker. This isn't just any ordinary witch though. She is only a vampire witch!!! It is not yet known when she will appear in the show. I will post as this news becomes available.

This has now got me thinking... is she something to do with the original witch? Is she THE ORIGINAL witch? What do you think? Comments please!!!
