The Originals - Spoiler From TV Line - 28th March 2014

I know Rebekah is gone from The Originals, but will we at least hear about her? Please tell me they’re not just going to pretend she doesn’t exist.

Keep an eye on your mailbox, Anna. “We’ll get the postcards from Kansas, and we’ll for sure see her again, God willing,” executive producer Julie Plec tells TVLine. “I don’t think it’s the last we’ve seen of Rebekah. It was just time for her to say goodbye and drive off into the proverbial sunset.” As for what you can expect from a Rebekah-less New Orleans, Plec says, “The absence of this sister from this family dynamic is going to make the brother dynamic even more fraught.” Wait, more fraught?

Now that Vampire Diaries‘ Damon and Elena have broken up, will Elena’s romantic feelings for Stefan come back in Season 6? Is there at least hope for them again?

While we can’t speak for Elena, we can speak for Stefan — especially after Paul Wesley explained the current state of Stelena to us. Though Wesley tells us that Stefan has “made peace” with Damon and Elena being friends with benefits, “There are always residual feelings with anyone that you’re ever with romantically.” IOW, if Elena ever decides Stefan’s the guy for her, he’ll be there.

Any TVD goodies to share?
Paul Wesley's favorite scene in his directorial debut? A Matt scene! Go on, feel some bromantic feels. "There's a scene between Matt and someone else that I can't name and there's a whole sequence and it's a beautiful sequence," he spills. "It's very action-packed. I really enjoyed it."

The Originals - 1x18 "The Big Uneasy" Official Synopsis

THE FEAST OF THE BLESSINGS — Genevieve (guest star Elyse Levesque) asks Elijah (Daniel Gillies) to allow her coven to publicly celebrate a traditional feast day, where members of the community offer the witches gifts in return for blessings.  Monique (guest star Yasmine Al Bustami)) and Genevieve disagree over what the ancestors want from them, and Genevieve reveals her plan to build the witches power.  When Elijah focuses his attention on restoring their home to its former glory, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) accuses him of doing it only to impress Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin).  Next, Klaus sets a new plan in motion by finding Cary (guest star Jesse Boyd), a werewolf from his own line, and sending him off to find a missing piece of family history.  Marcel lets Thierry (guest star Callard Harris) in on his new plan to rebuild his power, but Diego (guest star Eka Darville) has his own ideas about the future.  At the Feast of the Blessings, Monique and Genevieve try to use the ceremony to teach Davina (Danielle Campbell) a lesson, but Klaus intervenes and gives Davina a surprisingly important gift.  While Hayley struggles to decide where her loyalties should lie, the ceremony explodes into violence.  Leah Pipes also stars.  Leslie Libman directed the episode written by Marguerite MacIntyre & Michael Russo (#118).

PAUL WESLEY MAKES HIS DIRECTORIAL DEBUT — Both Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) are suddenly having unsettling dreams of an alternate version of the life they might have had together. Bonnie (Kat Graham) has a disturbing encounter with Grams (guest star Jasmine Guy), who warns her about frightening changes on the Other Side. Enzo (guest star Michael Malarkey) gives Damon (Ian Somerhalder) unwanted relationship advice, then admits he is searching for a woman he loved decades before while he was held captive by the Augustines. Liv (guest star Penelope Mitchell) enlists Matt (Zach Roerig), Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and Tyler (Michael Trevino) to help track the Travelers and keep them from taking control of Mystic Falls. Bonnie is hurt and angry when she learns that Jeremy is working with Liv behind her back. Luke (guest star Chris Brochu) shows up at the Salvatore house and explains what he knows about Markos (guest star Raffi Barsoumian) and the Travelers to Damon, Elena and Enzo. The Originals - Spoiler From TV Line - 26th March 2014

Diehard ‘Klaroline’ shipper here. Please tell me Klaus and Genevieve are just messing around and that their relationship on The Originals won’t last.

Fear not. Joseph Morgan recently set the record straight on Klaus’ true feelings, or lack thereof, for the witch who revealed his sister’s betrayal. “They’re two extremely damaged people who share a sense of self-loathing and they take it out on each other — sometimes physically, sometimes aggressively,” he explained. “Ultimately, a relationship like that can be fun, but it’s doomed, I would say, from the start.”

I know it’s a little early to ask this, but anything you can give us on next season of The Vampire Diaries?
Well, before you ask what’s coming up in Season 6, you should probably ask which characters might not live long enough to see it. ”There are going to be a lot of goodbyes as we realize the other side is disintegrating,” executive producer Julie Plec tells TVLine. “Not everybody is going to survive that. We’re going to have to say goodbye to some characters that we’ve grown to love over the years. That’s what we’ll see when we get to the finale.”

Any Vampire Diaries scoop? Especially something about Caroline?
If by “Caroline,” you mean “Stefan and Caroline,” I’ve got you covered, Chery. The fan-favorite characters are about to spend a lot more time together, including one particularly steamy scene that Plec was happy to tease for us: “They go on an adventure, there’s a train car and it’s cold outside. So what are a girl and a boy to do, but cuddle up for warmth?” What, indeed.

Anything to tease on The Originals?

Prepare for more flashbacks, but this time, they're Marcel-centric! "We're doing them now for episode 20, "Charles Michael Davis spills. "It's actually flashbacks we were going to use in an earlier episode and the great thing was they watched them and they liked them so much they said we want to put them back. I'm really grateful for that!" Expect to learn a lot about his relationship with Klaus through the blasts from the past.

Enzo and Caroline? Yes please! They are so hooking up on The Vampire Diaries, right?

Pump the brakes there, girl! Sparks? Yes. Hooking up? Probably not. Julie Plec dishes, "I think it's fairly safe to say now after five years that Caroline has chemistry with everybody and so there's definitely some fun banter and some flirtation that she indulges on a small level because Enzo is a highly mischievous flirt, but I think it's really more just he gets a kick out of digging at her and poking at her. That' just the kind of guy he is. He likes to rile people up and she's very easily riled."

The Originals - Spoiler From TV Guide - 25th March 2014

Who's going to be the first faction to break the treaty on The Originals?

Would you be surprised to hear it's Klaus? "The next episode shows the aftermath of a night when peace has been broken and Elijah realizes Klaus has been up to something behind his back," executive producer Julie Plec tells me. "They have it out with each other." So, no more brotherly love, then?

The Vampire Diaries - Spoiler From TV Guide - 25th March 2014

What can we expect for Caroline on The Vampire Diaries' next few episodes?!

Well, I have it on good authority that Caroline and Stefan will be cuddling up soon. "We just filmed something that was pretty intimate," Paul Wesley tells me. "It wasn't sexual, but borderline-platonic, where we're giving each other looks and it really drives me crazy." We already know how Candice Accola feels about the possible pairing, but is Wesley on board? "I think that would be wonderful," he says.

The Originals - News From Paleyfest 2014

IS ELIJAH THE NEW KLAUS?
“The redemption of Klaus and the undoing of Elijah seems to be where we’re creeping towards,” Daniel Gillies explained. And don’t expect Klaus to object to his brother’s change of heart. “He likes to see Elijah embrace the darker side,” Joseph Morgan added. “There’s an excitement, definitely.”
CLAIRE HOLT’S EXIT EXPLAINED
“As far as I’m concerned, this is a temporary hiatus,” Holt said about her absence from the series. “I’m taking a little vacation in the sun, but I’m going to return to my New Orleans family.” Holt went on to assure the audience that Originals producers didn’t “run out of ideas,” nor was she “pushed out” of the show. After not seeing so many of her loved ones for so long, she decided she simply needed more free time. ”I am so not ready to let go of the Mikaelsons,” she concluded. “I hope that there’s many more stories to tell.”
NO TIME FOR PEACE
Elijah may have seemingly united New Orleans’ supernatural factions last week, but make no mistake, no one is expecting it to last. “He’s starting to understand there’s a lot of method to Klaus’ madness and a degree of mayhem he can’t avoid,” Gillies explained. “I think he’s expecting poor results, but he’s giving the factions this one final opportunity to do the right thing — which is his thing.”
HAYLEY’S NEXT MOVE
What’s coming up for Klaus’ baby mama now that she’s getting a seat at the table? ”Throughout Hayley’s life, she’s been looking for a family,” Phoebe Tonkin explained. “Now she’s just trying to work out where her loyalties lie and what she wants to fight for. She’s a woman on a mission to protect her baby and protect what she thinks is right.”
ANOTHER CROSSOVER
When an audience member asked about more crossover episodes with The Vampire Diaries, executive producer Julie Plec had only this to say: “Yes… Maybe… I don’t know.”

The Vampire Diaries - News From Paleyfest 2014

DELENA’S FUTURE
“They’ve got to have a lot of actual, legit, grown-up conversations,” executive producer Julie Plec noted of Damon and Elena’s current relationship status. “We just want to try to play them as human as possible, in spite of their inhuman experience.” Of course, there’s one major problem with that plan. “They keep taking their pants off, and that’s what gets in the way of the grown-up conversations,” Ian Somerhalder noted.
WHERE IS KATHERINE?
“We don’t really discuss heaven and hell on the show,” executive producer Caroline Dries explained of Katherine’s epic death. “I thought it was pretty obvious — her being dragged away in a church — where she went.” So does that mean we should never expect to see Kat again in some form? ”Never say never on our show,” Dries said.
KLAROLINE’S CHANCES
Basically, don’t hold your breath for another Klaus-Caroline reunion. “If they were still on the same show, they might have a brief moment of something,” Plec said of the former pair. “I feel like Caroline Forbes is such a crucial element … on The Vampire Diaries. I think taking her off that show would be very damaging to the show. Right now, Klaus has his own s–t to do.”
CAROLINE AND STEFAN?
“Caroline and Stefan have a lot to do together in the next couple episodes,” Plec teased when a fan asked about a potential romance for the pair. “They go through some stuff together.” And for the record, Paul Wesley is all for it. “I’d like that!” he said enthusiastically.
‘HOPE FOR STELENA’
When an eager fan asked if there’s still “hope for Stelena,” Dries made her day with this answer: “There’s some really good Stelena stuff coming up in the episode Paul directed.” She called it “satisfying” and “nostalgic,” while Wesley added that it’s “reminiscent of season one.”
