Any scoop on what baby Hope will be up to in Season 2 of The Originals?

Sorry, nothing on that particular tyke, but it sounds like someone else will have babies on the brain. Producers are currently casting Ingrid, a supposedly barren young woman who will stop at nothing to be with-child — including lying to her husband. (Gee, if only there were a few witches in town who might be able to help her out….)

Where We Left Off: After being kidnapped by the witches, Hayley gave birth, was immediately killed, but came back to life as a hybrid. In order to save her and Klaus' child, the two made the heartbreaking decision to give baby Hope to Rebekah with help from Marcel — who was then compelled to forget the baby is alive. Finally, not only has the Guerrera pack taken back control of the French Quarter, but Original family members Esther and presumably Finn returned via new bodies in the last few minutes.

What's Next: Esther will make her presence known fast, only aiding to Klaus' destructive rampage. "Klaus has decided that he will only imagine a day when he'll be reunited with Hope while he destroys everyone keeping that child away from him," executive producer Michael Narducci tells us. "So he will make everyone pay." With regard to his relationship with former protégé Marcel, Narducci adds that they're in a really good place. "Klaus has an agenda [and] he knows that of all the allies he could have, Marcel knows the city, knows the layout, the politics and Marcel back in the 1920s and '30s was able to take out the wolves. So if Klaus wants to deal with the Guerreras he'll need someone who knows how to do that." As for Davina's decision to bring back Mikael, she'll have the two to deal with when they find out what she's done. Hayley too will be shattered, but ready to enact revenge, and although she and Elijah had finally kissed before the finale, don't expect that coupling any time soon.

Where We Left Off: In a plan to save the Other Side, Damon with Elena caused a massive explosion to kill all the Travelers. Once on the Other Side, Liv enacted a resurrection spell, allowing Stefan, Elena, Enzo and Alaric to cross back through Bonnie. But when Liv's brother Luke saw it was killing her, he put an end to the spell seconds before Damon could come back to life. During the final moments, Damon and Bonnie were left standing hand-in-hand awaiting their final fate.

What's Next: After a big time jump, the premiere opens with Bonnie and Damon still gone. While their whereabouts will be revealed quickly, the question of what happened while they were there will be a season-long arc. Elena will be grieving over the loss of Damon by making some surprising choices and bonding with Stefan and Alaric, who does some bonding of his own with a woman he meets. Get ready for a handful of new faces, including a militia leader (Colin Ferguson) and a tough doctor at the university hospital (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe). Matt will be thriving as he gets involved in the new magic-less community, while Tyler, now back to a human with the werewolf gene, will return to his testosterone-filled, hard-headed personality. Will he reconnect with Caroline, whom executive producer Julie Plec says will take the loss of Bonnie and Damon "in a weird way the hardest"?
