I would love to get scoop on The Vampire Diaries‘ Stefan and Caroline! Will they start dating soon?
Paul Wesley thinks they should bypass the dating stage altogether. “They need to have sex, just get right to it,” he says with a laugh. “We’d have sex in the Salvatore crypt. That’s the way to go, man.” Nina Dobrev, meanwhile, has a hunch Elena will “figure out a way to be OK” with Caroline’s feelings for Stefan, adding, “It’s going to be a little awkward, but let’s be real, who is Elena to judge? She dated a brother, then dated his brother, then went back and forth. She can’t say anything. She has no right.”
I’m so excited to see Hayley as a hybrid on The Originals. Any chance Elijah will become her vampire mentor?
Well, Jess, you’re not alone; Phoebe Tonkin is also stoked about her new role. “I’m so excited, they’ve already fitted me for fangs,” Tonkin tells TVLine. “I’ve always wanted to play a vampire, so I couldn’t be more thrilled.” As for which of the bloodsuckers in her life will be showing her how to use those fangs, Tonkin is wary of planting any Haylijah seeds in our heads. “It’ll be interesting to see who she strikes up relationships with during this journey,” she teases. “Maybe she and Klaus could form an unexpected friendship.”

At least he's got Caroline, right? Unfortunately, that relationship won't necessarily fill the void left by the disappearance of his brother Damon. "It's really a character-defining journey for Stefan, and it'll change him quite a lot," executive producer Julie Plec says. "At what point does he decide to give up or keep searching for answers?" Well, that doesn't sound very promising for Damon now, does it?

Hayley is taking a seriously dark turn in season two, Phoebe Tonkin warns. "We're going to see a very broken, a very lost Hayley. She doesn't know who she is anymore. She not only doesn't know where she came from, she doesn't know who she is right now. It's sad and it's heartbreaking." And you know what darkness means? A lack of kissing! "No!" Tonkin says with a laugh when we asked if she's smooched Daniel Gillies yet. (They are three episodes into filming.) How rude!
